ABOUT THE TRAINING INSTITUTE DBT Workshop

The Bridge offers professional development workshops designed to meet the needs of our colleagues across the country.  Through The Bridge Training Institute we provide a team of experienced trainers and consultants to assist with challenging program issues, clients, and students.

Our
workshops for mental health and education professionals focus on Evidence-Based and Best Practice treatment models – treatments that The Bridge has significant experience implementing in our programs.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

1. Best Practices are ... best!

Every workshop topic is based on an Evidence-Based or Best Practice model. The treatments we describe are clinically sophisticated & empirically supported to reduce risk behaviors and improve client well-being. They are also designed to empower clients and support recovery.

2. Learning by doing is the only way.
Our workshops are skills-based - that means you will leave your training with tools that you can put into practice the next day. Materials, case examples, and in-class exercises are all designed for practical implementation.

3. We have extensive experience in the field.
The Bridge has 35 years of experience in the field. Our presenters work with real-life clients every day. We teach these treatment models because we have first-hand knowledge of their success.
