New Web site launched for The Bridge Training Institute
WORCESTER - This week The Bridge of Central Massachusetts launched a new Web site for the agency's Training Institute.
The site, www.thebridgetraininginstitute.org, will feature information on upcoming professional development workshops sponsored by The Bridge, as well as resources regarding Evidence-Based Practices and Best Practices.
The site was developed by Pirata Media with funding from Mount Wachusett Community College's Compassion Capital Fund Demonstration Sustainability Award program.
The Bridge Training Institute is led by the agency's Director of Business Development, Stephen Murphy. He said everyone involved with the Training Institute is very excited to see the site launched.
"We are delighted with the site," he said. "It will be a resource for mental health professionals and will make it very easy for people to register for our upcoming workshops."
The Bridge Training Institute will kick off a second round of workshops for mental health and school professionals in February with a day-long training by eating disorders expert Mona Villapiano, Psy.D. In March, reknowned psychologist Thomas Joiner, Ph.D. will conduct a workshop called: "Why People Die by Suicide;" and in May The Bridge's own Dr. Barry Walsh and Jennifer Eaton will lead a "Mindfulness" workshop.
Detailed descriptions of the workshops are available at The Bridge's Training Institute Web site: www.thebridgetraininginstitute.org, will feature information on upcoming professional development workshops sponsored by The Bridge, as well as resources regarding Evidence-Based Practices and Best Practices.
